Founded in 1981 by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar,The Art of Living Foundation is a not-for-profit, educational and humanitarian NGO (Non-Governmental Organisation) engaged in stress-management and service initiatives. The organization operates globally in 152 countries and has touched the lives of 370 million people.
The organisation’s programs are guided by Sri Sri’s philosophy of peace: “Unless we have a stress-free mind and a violence-free society, we cannot achieve world Peace.” To help individuals get rid of stress and experience inner peace, The Art of Living offers stress-elimination programs which include breathing techniques, meditation and yoga. These programs have helped millions around the world to overcome stress, depression and violent tendencies.
Our Task: Sheen Impressions continues to do what we can for the The Art of Living whether it be creating ads for courses or advertising on a global scale.
The Art of Living – GTA (Greater Toronto Area) had hosted a Gala in April with proceeds going to help fund the newly built Ashram located 2 hours east of Montreal Quebec. We were asked to give the event a beautiful brand and create an advertising campaign to speed the word about this worth while event.
We also had the pleasure of branding and creating SMILE magazine, which is aimed to be an annual Art of Living, Health and Wellness magazine with a little something for everyone. The magazine focusses on course information, tips and tricks to eat and exercise to be healthy and dynamic and doubles as a wonderful advertising tool for anyone who would like to advertise within the Art of Living Community.
Due to the natural calamities that hit Nepal, volunteers got together and decided to facilitate a fundraising campaign within the organization to help the Nepal earthquake victims. Pulling together whatever resources we had, we helped spread the word and collect funds for the people in need.
